Research Interests & Projects

My current research involves the use of polygenic risk scores (which are weighted sums of effect allele counts) to predict a patient's genetic risk for various diseases. In particular, I am interested in comparing and assessing different methods of generating polygenic risk scores in terms of power, predictive accuracy, and other criteria. I am currently supported by the Biostatistics Training in Cancer Research grant
