Shelagh SaenzShelagh Saenz, Director

Shelagh has advised public health students and alumni for over a decade on the art of job seeking and on tools for enhancing professional competitiveness.  She holds a Masters degree in Counseling and certifications of Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC).  Shelagh offers career assistance covering a variety of topics including building effective resumes and cover letters, networking, developing interviewing skills, negotiating opportunities, and more.

Krystle Forbes Krystle Forbes, Career Coordinator

Krystle's works mainly with the first-year master's level cohorts. She advises students 1:1 and presents class workshops. Her sessions focuses on professional development, successfully navigating the school of public health's internship requirement. She holds a Master's Degree in Student Affairs Administration with a focus on adult learning and career development. Krystle promotes individual reflection to identify student goals and meet internship provider needs.

Cody RiffleCody Riffle, Employer Relations Coordinator

Cody Riffle has over four years of corporate relationship experience. Prior to working with the Michigan Athletics Career Center, he spent time in several industries spanning from finance to manufacturing. In each role, corporate engagement has been the focus. With a diverse background in various industries, he understands many of the challenges and benefits that companies can have when searching for new talent. By creating partnerships between the University of Michigan and public health sectors, Cody is driven by his determination to connecting students and employers in the public health workforce.
