With sound research and collaborations, we leverage the existing infrastructure, prepare our youth to compete, and increase access to burgeoning job and career tracks in health care.
Case Competition Competency Project
The goal of Case Competition Competency project is to answer is whether a structured approach to practice enhances student training and career success. This research involves evaluation of student selection, course development, and practice approaches for degree programs that incorporate case competition opportunities for students. This project explores each of these areas, collecting data and analyzing outcomes related to each component.
The Health Equity Leadership Forum is designed as a convening where we discuss various topics that impact the health of diverse populations. The Collaborative hosts a fall and winter forum and invites dynamic experts in the field to discuss action steps for all public health disciplines.
The goal of the Leadership Pipeline Competency Analysis study is to evaluate the impact of diverse leaders in executive positions within healthcare organizations. This research involves systematic review and survey analysis of healthcare professional career paths as they relate to the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for successful careers. The study attempts to influence a stream of leadership and leadership diversity research that develops better processes related to advancement in executive leadership roles in healthcare organizations.
