Research Interests & Projects
My research focuses on waterborne pathogens and diarrheal diseases in children under five in low- and middle-income countries. My interests include social and environmental influences on disease transmission, water access and sanitation coverage, and epidemiologic methodology for waterborne diseases.
My current research projects study wastewater reuse for agricultural irrigation in Mexico and its effects on children’s health.
