Research Interests & Projects

Broadly, my research interests include chronic disease epidemiology, aging, social determinants of health and their impact on disparities in health outcomes, and access to care and health systems functioning. I have research experience linking together large health administrative, vital statistics and survey data to examine disparities in mortality and clinical outcomes as well as occupational exposures and cancer risk.

Current Research:
I am currently working under the supervision of Dr. Philippa Clarke at the Center for Social Epidemiology and Population Health (CSEPH) and the Institute for Social Research (ISR) examining the association between socioenvironmental factors and cognitive decline as well as assessing predictors of healthy aging amongst people with disabilities.
