Research Interests & Projects

My research focuses on the effects of social relationships on health among older Hispanic adults in the US. I’m also interested in the mechanisms through which population migration and health interplay and the mediating role of social support systems. 

Current Research
My current research explores the psychosocial determinants of age-associated change in health among older Puerto Rican adults in the US and Puerto Rico.
