Classroom Response System: PollEverywhere
University of Michigan School of Public Health
M1123 SPH II, 1415 Washington Heights Ann Arbor, MI 48109-2029

Classroom response systems like PollEverywhere are used to poll students and gather immediate feedback in response to questions posed by instructors. Research suggests that the use of CRS is associated with increased student engagement, increased learning, and better student outcomes. Strategies for using CRS in the classroom fall into three main categories: monitoring the classroom, real-time evaluation of student comprehension, and peer instruction. In this session we will discuss practical ways to implement each strategy through using PollEverywhere. (This workshop is eligible for 1 Continuing Education Credit (CPE) credit.)
