This award winning movie documented the difficult journey of three of the “Lost Boys of Sudan”, Southern Sudanese young men, who fled the Civil War in Sudan since the 1980s, and their journey to the United States, where they strive for a better future through series of struggle. The title came from a statement by one of the boys, John Bul Dau, while expressing his thoughts on the suffering and killings he witnessed during the civil war in his country. He thought it might have been the final judgment on earth spoken of in the Bible, because "God was tired of us,", "tired of the bad things the people were doing." We would like to conclude the workshop with a brief discussion. Please feel free to bring lunch with you.
