Jennifer Griggs, MD, MPH, Professor, Department of Health Management & Policy & Professor, Department of Internal Medicine, Hematology & Oncology Division will review the methodology and findings of a NCI-funded study using standardized patient methodology to investigate patient provider communication and prescriber behavior in the management of cancer-related pain according to nonclinical factors. Preliminary results of analyses regarding de-prescribing of statins will also be presented.
