Please join the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Program Manager, Nichole Burnside, for an opportunity to enhance your understanding of the School of Public Health (SPH) Continuing Professional Education (CPE) competency. SPH faculty and staff (administrative and research), with appointments greater than or equal to 0.75 FTE, are expected to participate in 8 hours of CPE per academic year. The School of Public Health places a high value on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Continuous Professional Education within our community; continuous education is an opportunity to grow our skills, abilities, competencies, connections and our personal and collective knowledge, Participants in this workshop will review the Continuing Professional Education guidelines; discuss how to capture the workshops/seminars on a merit review; brainstorm ways to meet the 8-hour competency and share suggestions for new offerings with the DEI Program Manager.
