A CONCERT FOR HOPE: Addressing Inequities in Medicine and Beyond
Hill Auditorium - 825 N. University Avenue, Ann Arbor, MI
Hill Auditorium - 825 N. University Avenue, Ann Arbor, MI

Join us with Adam Foss, JD, of Prosecutor Impact, Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit, and Maya Boyd of the Academy of Russian Classical Ballet for a free celebration event at 7pm at Hill Auditorium on February 12 to build awareness and to celebrate the launch of the Impacting HOPE Collaborative at Michigan Medicine. Impacting HOPE (health equity, opportunity, pipeline, and education) Collaborative’s goals are threefold: Develop, strengthen, and study early pipeline and youth educational programs for medicine; broaden Michigan Medicine’s clinical reach and engagement of community partners for health equity in at-risk neighborhoods; and diversify student, training programs and trainee recruitment. The Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit empowers young people to maximize their potential through professional performing arts training and through the creation of theatrical and musical art that engages, transforms and inspires. Maya Boyd, an outstanding and accomplished Ann Arbor Public School student, and exceptionally trained classical ballet dancer has performed internationally with Ballet Detroit and now with the Academy of Russian Classical Ballet. The event is free, though there will be opportunities to support the mission through donations. Funds will be directed towards resources supporting the launch of Impacting HOPE Collaborative’s mission.
