Our featured speaker will be Alex Rickard, Assistant Professor of Epidemiology. Dr. Rickard's research interests primary pertain to: (1) the interspecies bacterial interactions and relevance to human health, (2) the biofilm development in freshwater, oral, and medically relevant environments, and (3) the interaction of the human microbiome with environmental microorganisms.
