There are many health equity concerns that have arisen or worsened under COVID-19. This four-part series will discuss current health equity issues related to the pandemic as well as resources and strategies to address them, particularly in Washtenaw County, MI. This second webinar will take a deeper dive into the community and economic effects of COVID-19 and will provide information about what's needed as we move from crisis to recovery. Audience: While the series will emphasize the Washtenaw County, MI context, content may be of interest to community members and public health or social service practitioners more broadly. Learning Objectives: Examine the relationship between housing, isolation, and COVID-19 outcomes as health equity issues Consider the role of the community voice in policy change for equitable COVID-19 response This series is offered by the Washtenaw County Health Department, UMSPH Public Health Practice, Michigan Institute for Clinical and Health Research, and the Region V Public Health Training Center.
