The session will feature a panel of faculty from the Z2T Translational Network comprised of experts from Epidemiology (Alexis Handal), Psychiatry (Kara Zivin), Education (Nell Duke), and Psychology (Nicole Gardner-Neblett), discussing how issues of racial justice impact young children and families and reflecting on policy implications for children and families. Our moderator will be Alicia Guevara Warren, the current Director of Statewide Policy Initiatives at the Early Childhood Investment Corporation (and former director of Kids Count Michigan), and the panel is being advertised through a number of channels across the state including the Michigan Public Policy League, the Michigan Council for Maternal Child Health, and the Early Childhood Investment Corporation.
