Kate pursued K-12 public education for 5 years after undergrad as a Teach For America Corps Member in Arkansas and Mississippi and teacher coach throughout several districts in South Louisiana. Upon earning her Master’s in Education Leadership & Policy at University of Michigan School of Education, she began working in the Epidemiology Department with master’s students as they pursued and explored summer internship opportunities. Her current work involves developing master’s students professional skills through the department’s professional development seminar and corresponding workshops.
