In the next decade, the School of Public Health will tackle some of the world’s most urgent, complex, and intractable problems in public health. Chief among them are widespread childhood obesity, escalating health care costs, unequal access to health resources, and the need for a new economy in public health.

We confront these challenges confident that our expertise is strong and our ability to make an impact is great. And we will prepare ourselves strategically by implementing new programs and resources that strengthen our capacity, support our students and faculty, enhance the learning experience, and assure our continued leadership in the field of public health.

Our focus is on three key initiatives, each one of them vital to the future of the school.
