Dissertation Title: “Progress or Performance? A Critical Analysis of Healthcare Organizations’ efforts to address Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Healthcare Workforce”
My scholarship is focused on investigating a central question: "How can healthcare organizations successfully create and execute strategies that drive performance in both diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and health equity?" Within my research, I emphasize two main areas: 1) how healthcare organizations can effectively recruit and retain diverse leadership talent, and 2) identifying the organizational structures, policies, and practices that impact or obstruct progress in expanding DEI and health equity teams and initiatives.
