My research uses mixed-methods emphasizing comparative historical analysis to evaluate effects of political decision-making on social determinants of health policy promulgation and implementation, with a focus on policies targeting at-risk populations. I am particularly interested in the effects of federalism and intergovernmental relations on health policy decision-making and delivery in behavioral healthcare, housing, and environmental health policy.
