The Day of Service was created with the intent to address health inequities on both a local and global scale through service and education. The day will consist of different service projects such as assembling care packages and hygiene kits, making tie-blankets, and writing cards. Items created at the Day of Service will be donated to local clinics, hospitals, and nonprofits such as the Delonis Homeless Shelter, Hope Clinic, VA Medical Center, Project Linus, and more.
