HPSA is excited to be hosting an event on Thursday, November 17th on Health Policy Evaluation! Join us in learning how you can apply policy evaluation frameworks and methods to help improve existing programs as well as plan more effective public health strategies in the future. The training will be led by Dr. Paula Lantz, the James B. Hudak Professor of Health Policy at the University of Michigan's Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy. She is also director of the Ford School's BA program and holds an appointment as professor of health management and policy in the School of Public Health. Lantz, a social demographer/social epidemiologist, studies the role of public policy in improving population health and reducing social disparities in health. This event will supplement policy topics typically learned in Dr. Lantz's course, HMP 640, which is not being offered this year. Participants who attend will receive a Certificate of Completion from HPSA. All are welcome and snacks will be provided!
