Muriel Bassil has public health experience spanning over 4 years across non-profit organizations, academia, and governmental institutions. She is adept at spearheading teams and fostering collaboration with stakeholders to design, oversee, and assess cutting-edge programs tailored to the requirements of vulnerable populations. Muriel joined United States Agency of International Development as a Jr. Program Specialist in November of 2023. Before that, she led a team of epidemiologists and data analysts with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services’ Infection Prevention unit. Muriel received her BSc from the American University of Beirut and her MPH from the University of Michigan School of Public Health. In her free time, Muriel enjoys dancing, reading, and cooking.
