Digital accessibility in coursework is essential to creating learning experiences that work for all learners. Faculty, instructors, and instructional support staff play an important role in this transformation. Now is a good time to begin reviewing course materials and identifying sustainable, manageable steps toward improved accessibility.
The Disability Equity Office will host this one-hour virtual presentation where attendees will meet the University's new Digital Accessibility Specialists supporting course accessibility, learn about accessibility expectations for digital course materials, and discover how digital accessibility impacts student learning outcomes. In addition, you’ll receive updates on resources being developed to support the U-M instructional community and identify a tangible next step for advancing accessibility in your own courses this Fall!
