Dr. Natasha Bagdasarian has been the Chief Medical Executive for the State of Michigan since 2021. In this role she provides overall medical guidance for the State of Michigan as a cabinet member of the Governor. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases and is a Fellow of the Infectious Diseases Society of America.

Research Interests:
Dr. Bagdasarian has worked in Michigan and internationally (Singapore, Bangladesh,
for the World Health Organization), and has 50+ publications on topics in infectious
diseases and public health.
Research Projects:
From 2020-2021 Dr. Bagdasarian served the State of Michigan as Senior Public Health
Physician.
Since 2020 she has served as a technical advisor for the World Health Organization (WHO), on outbreak preparedness and COVID-19.
