Patti Ramos has been a Registered Dietitian since 2012, with experience in food service management, health promotion communication, program management and development, community nutrition education, information dissemination, and clinical inpatient and outpatient medical nutrition therapy. She has held management roles for food service departments in acute care and critical access hospitals and has had the privilege to manage a number of diverse teams. While working in the hospital environment, Ms. Ramos improved sustainability within food service departments and developed programs to reduce operational food waste.

Ms. Ramos is a Research Assistant and Dissemination Coordinator at the Michigan Developmental Disabilities Institute at Wayne State University, focusing on health promotion communication through new media. Her primary interests lie within communicating and tailoring health promotion messages to all through research translation and data visualization.
