About Us

The Future Public Health Leaders Program (FPHLP), a CDC funded program, designed to encourage underrepresented college students to consider careers in public health, is housed at the University of Michigan School of Public Health.

FPHLP is funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Office of the Director, Office of Minority Health and Health Equity (OMHHE). It is part of the CDC Undergraduate Public Health Scholars (CUPS) along with programs at Columbia University, Morehouse College, and Kennedy Krieger Institute.
