Government Health Organizartions

Governmental organizations are situated within federal, state, county, or local government and usually provide oversight and administration in a specific area such as public or environmental health. Governmental organizations can include local health departments or branches within state or federal government.

Michigan Medicine - Adolescent Health Initiative 

The Adolescent Health Initiative works to transform the health care landscape to optimize adolescent health and well-being through practice improvement, education, research, and youth and community engagement.

Past Field Experience Projects

Students assessed the needs of youth and seniors to design culturally responsive health education. Developed and implemented workshops for Foster Grandparents Program and Parkridge Summer Camps. Moreover, I evaluated the outcomes of the FosterGrandparents and Park Ridge Summer Camp.
