School of Public Health faculty members are encouraged to attend graduation. It is a joyous event and a culmination of our students' educational experience here. It means a great deal for students to see you at graduation. Please complete the registration form below to confirm your intent to attend by Monday, April 10. If you require us to obtain your academic attire, the deadline to register is Friday, March 24.
If you are a dissertation advisor for a doctoral student who will be graduating, we need you to participate in the hooding of your candidate. Your attendance is vitally important. Our on-stage doctoral hooding is an annual tradition and is a beautiful part of the ceremony.
For the benefit of your students, we will hold a hooding rehearsal the day of graduation at 11:00am. We want to practice these steps to ensure the hooding is completed with grace and precision.

|12:00 p.m.||Faculty members begin lining up to process to the stage.|
|12:30 p.m.||Graduation begins promptly with the procession of faculty.|
|2:30 p.m.||Ceremony ends and reception on Ingalls Mall (adjacent to Hill Auditorium) begins. Although we are not able to predict the exact end time of the ceremony, 2:30 p.m. should be a reasonable approximation. Most guests typically leave the outdoor reception after an hour.|
We ask that you do not bring valuables to the event. Faculty members will be able to leave coats and small incidentals in the robing area during the ceremony, but please be aware that this room is not locked. You will not be able to carry non-essential items with you to the stage, so please do not bring them to the ceremony.
All faculty members, graduates, family, and their friends are invited to attend the School of Public Health reception immediately following the ceremony.
Our event photographer will roam briefly through the faculty robing room during robing. If there are special photos you'd like to take with other faculty, the dean, or the speaker, please speak up!
