Research Focus: My research interests lie at the intersection of social and psychiatric epidemiology. I focus on mental health conditions—including eating disorders and mood disorders—as well as HIV prevention. A central aim of my work is advancing LGBTQ+ health, with sexual and gender minorities consistently at the center of my research questions, methods, and interpretations. I am also deeply committed to policy-relevant science and to translating empirical findings into meaningful, sustainable public policies.
