The School of Dentistry and the MLK Health Sciences Committee invite you to attend the 2023 MLK Health Sciences Lecture, entitled: (R)EVOLUTION from Segregation to Elevation: The Quest for Health Equity. A keynote lecture will be presented by Dr. George Taylor, DMD, MPH, DrPH, Professor and Associate Dean, Diversity and Inclusion, University of California San Francisco, School of Dentistry. Dr. Taylor is a professor and member of the Department of Preventive and Restorative Dental Sciences in the Division of Oral Epidemiology and Dental Public Health at the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry. He is also Associate Dean for Diversity and Inclusion at UCSF. Prior to joining the faculty at UCSF, he was a proud member of the faculty in the Schools of Dentistry and Public Health here, at the University of Michigan.

The lecture will take place Monday, January 16, 1:00pm-2:30pm EST, School of Dentistry Kellogg Auditorium, 1011 North University Avenue, Ann Arbor. Light luncheon to follow the lecture in the Sindecuse Atrium.

Directions to the Dental School: Enter the Dental School using the entrance at the corner of North University and Fletcher Street (near the blue Dentistry School sign) OR from the courtyard between next to UM Health Services. Once in the school, way-finders will guide you the Kellogg Auditorium.

Registration is required for both the virtual and in-person events.
