About the Certificate

TITLE

Although a Certificate in Global Public Health is not offered at this time, there are many opportunities for students to gain knowledge, skills, and experience in the global health realm within Michigan Public Health, the University of Michigan, and abroad. Below are resources that may assist students in locating opportunities to connect and learn.

  • Annual Global Public Health Kickoff (September)
    • Fall networking opportunity for first year students to identify faculty with shared global health interests.
  • Students Engaged in Global Health (SEGH)
    • Sponsored student organization offering peer mentorship and other opportunities to connect around global health.

Global Health Internship Panel (September)

Second year students share with first year students where they interned and what they learned during summer internships.

Alumni Global Health and Development Panel (November)

Opportunity to learn from alumni across the health sciences professions about how to prepare for a career in global health.
