About the Training Center
The Region V Public Health Training Center (RVPHTC) is a part of the national Public Health Learning Network. We pride ourselves on the quality training we provide nationally to the public health community, drawing upon the expertise of professionals in both academia and the practice setting to deliver relevant content.
The RVPHTC is dedicated to supporting our partners with tailored training and interns to support capacity building for continued excellence in practice.
Our approach to workforce development includes:
- Competency-based continuing education
- Providing strategies and training to improve organizational effectiveness
- Developing students through field placements and collaborative projects with faculty and community partners
- Courses are available live and on-demand, in person and online.
