The Center for Respiratory Virus Research and Response & Public Health IDEAS for Combating Infectious Diseases are co-sponsoring a Summer Research Seminar with Dr. Daniel Douek, MD PhD. Daniel Douek is a Senior Investigator and Chief of the Human Immunology Section at the Vaccine Research Center of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, National Institutes of Health. Dr. Douek studies the processes that determine the course of human infectious diseases in which the immune system plays a central role in their pathogenesis and outcome.
