Dr. Padula is an epidemiologist with expertise in air pollution, social disparities, and adverse pregnancy outcomes. She was awarded the Outstanding New Environmental Scientist (ONES) Award from the NIEHS to investigate the impact of wildfires on preterm birth in California.
