If you have an interest in reproductive health with a focus on pregnancy loss and termination and would like to be a part of a larger community working to provide emotional, physical, and informational support to those undergoing miscarriage, stillbirth, or pregnancy termination in Southeast Michigan – the Lunar Doula Support Network (LDSN) is for you! LDSN is a student organization at UofM in Ann Arbor, and our purpose is to support and complement the work of the nonprofit Lunar Doula Collective by organizing community events, educational workshops, volunteer events, and research projects to normalize social discourse surrounding reproductive justice, pregnancy loss, and pregnancy termination. LDSN serves to educate community members on how to hold conversations with and provide support to those experiencing pregnancy loss and abortion. We strive to honor the reproductive justice framework by creating a nonjudgmental space in which sexual and reproductive health equity is essential for all human beings regardless of sexual, racial, and gender identities. Feel free to reach out with questions!
