Training: B.S. in Microbiology from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, M.P.H. in Epidemiology from the University of Alabama-Birmingham, School of Public Health, Ph.D. in Epidemiology from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Department of Public Health Sciences.
Research Focus: My research primarily focuses on the use of epidemiological methods to understand health inequalities in cancer. I’m interested in how social determinants on the individual, interpersonal, and neighborhood levels influence health outcomes among cancer survivors with specific interest in cognitive and mental health outcomes.
