RCRS/RR and PEERRS

Trainees are required to complete a one credit discussion-based course on the Responsible Conduct of Research and Scholarship (RCRS) and Rigor and Reproducibility (RR). Courses that fulfill this requirement are:
Biostatistics 810 - Approaches to the Responsible Practice of Biostatistics (Fall)
Environmental Health Sciences 510 - Responsible Conduct of Research and Scholarship (Fall)
Epidemiology 889 - Responsible Conduct of Research and Scholarship Seminar (Fall)
Program in Biomedical Sciences (PIBS) 503 - Research Responsibility and Ethics (Fall)
Program in Biomedical Sciences (PIBS) 504 - Rigor and Reproducibility Training (Winter)

PEERRS:  In addition to RCR and RR, trainees are required to complete the University of Michigan’s online Program for Education and Evaluation in Responsible Research and Scholarship. PEERRS is a web-based instruction and certification program for all UM faculty, staff, and trainees who are engaged in research.  PEERRS is in addition to RCRS and RR.
