Hotels & Transportation

There are several good ways to get around town as a student here even if you don’t own a car. Ann Arbor is often cited as one of the most walkable cities in the country. U-M is considered a bike-friendly campus. All U-M students can ride both the Ann Arbor Transit Authority buses and the U-M buses for free with their student ID (M-Card). Where you decide to live may be influenced by the best transportation options available to you in that location.
