As part of the University’s COVID-19 response, the Biosciences Initiative has established a new Michigan Center for Infectious Disease Threats (MCIDT), dedicated to improving local and global health through research on infectious disease threats and building capacity to respond to novel threats as they emerge. BSI and MCIDT are hosting a virtual symposium to educate the UM community of researchers and to create opportunities for collaboration and synergy.
