Alicia Procello is president of the Avery Dennison Foundation and vice president of corporate social responsibility for Avery Dennison Corporation, a Fortune 500 company and global leader in materials science and manufacturing. In over 50 countries, she oversees initiatives related to international grantmaking, employee engagement, cause marketing and disaster response.
Funding and volunteer programs support education, sustainability, and women’s empowerment in communities worldwide where Avery Dennison employees live and work. Ms. Procello has developed a successful global employee engagement model that measurably enhances the Company’s reputation through employee morale, recruitment, local government relations, and ultimately, growth.
Ms. Procello has spent her professional life helping to ensure that everyone she can impact, has access to opportunity. Her 25-plus years in the philanthropic and nonprofit sectors include positions at Nike, The California Wellness Foundation, and Planned Parenthood Los Angeles. She serves on the boards of Volunteers of America, Los Angeles; The Conference Board, Global CSR & Philanthropy Council; and Huntington Hospital Community Benefits Committee. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Ms. Procello received her B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, and her Master of Public Health from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
