Matt Mellon is a Director at Impact Advisory at Social Finance, where he supports organizations in exploring and implementing outcomes-based funding models in housing, behavioral health, and workforce training programs.

Prior to joining Social Finance, Matthew was a Managing Consultant in Guidehouse’s State and Local Government practice, where he provided organizational transformation, performance management, and enterprise information management advisory services to public sector clients. Prior to joining Guidehouse, he worked to increase equitable food bank access in Arizona as a part of the Emerson National Hunger Fellowship, served as a health policy associate at UnidosUS, and worked in clinical research and health education at Children’s National Medical Center.

Matthew earned a Master of Public Health (HBHE) and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Arts in History with minors in Economics and Environmental Sciences from Xavier University.
