Career Fairs
Our In-person Public Health Career Fairs with corresponding Virtual Student & Alumni Chats provide students, employers, and alumni working in specific sectors of Public Health to build meaningful connections towards the goal of supporting our future Public Health leaders in their career journeys. The three sectors include:
- Consulting and Private Sector Firms: Friday, Sept. 20, 2024
- Hospitals, Healthcare Systems & Research Centers: Friday, Jan. 24, 2025
- Non-profit Organizations & Government Departments: Friday, Feb. 21, 2025
Through participating in the Public Health Career Fields, students will be able to:
- Identify and describe the career sectors where Public Health graduates work
- Recognize key employers across sectors that hire graduates with their specialization
- Use networking skills including introducing themselves and asking thoughtful questions
- Create an effective resume in advance of the fair(s) they attend
- Build relationships with employers and alumni working in the Public Health field
- Connect with peers across degrees, departments, and years interested in similar Public Health fields
