Research Interests & Projects
My research interests are two-fold. First, I focus on the intersection of social connection,
and mental and physical health among older adults. I aim to understand why social
isolation and loneliness impact psychological, physical, and cognitive outcomes, and
how social determinants of health shape these associations. Second, I am involved
in suicide research among perinatal women, examining contextual and psychosocial risk
factors using mixed-method and network analysis approaches.
