Women in Leadership
University of Michigan School of Public Health
1680 SPH I (Paul B. Cornely Community Room), 1415 Washington Heights Ann Arbor, MI 48109-2029

In celebration of Women’s History Month, join us to celebrate and reflect on women in the workplace. This session is focused on reducing stigma and helping you build confidence to share your accomplishments, negotiate and speak up within the workplace (and personal lives). Studies reveal that women are far less likely to tout their own laudable job performance than men and also are less likely to negotiate. Practice your elevator pitch, discuss salary negotiation, and gain confidence in your remarkableness.

We'll also enjoy a panel discussion from women in School of Public Health leadership positions:

  • Kiran Szekeres, Director, Office of Foundational Learning and Practice
  • Cely Smart, Chief of Staff and Strategic Advisor to the Dean
  • Whitney Peoples, Director of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion

This session is open to all.
