Happy National Nutrition Month! To celebrate, the Nutritional Sciences Student Association (NSSA) is holding a non-perishable food drive. A bin will be located in the lobby of SPH I, under the stairs to the left of the front desk, through March 31st. All donations are going to the Maize & Blue Cupboard. Examples of what Maize & Blue Cupboard accepts:
- Canned fruits and vegetables
- Grains like rice, barley, oatmeal, quinoa
- Canned beans, canned seafood, canned meat
- Shelf-stable fats that are liquid at room temperature (like olive oil)
- Dry ground herbs and spices
Popular items Maize and Blue Cupboard would appreciate:
- Spices
- Pots/pans or cookware
- Snacks and foods for dietary restrictions (Halal, Kosher, etc.)
- Toothpaste and toothbrushes
