Researchers are increasingly required to write a data management or data sharing plan to accompany their research proposals to funding sources such as NIH, NSF, and more. This workshop will provide an overview of what kinds of information should be included in data management or sharing plans, along with best practices and resources to help with writing. This workshop will be most useful for researchers in the health sciences and STEM disciplines who are early career researchers, researchers who have not yet had to write data management plans, first-time grant applicants, and graduate students.
This is the first workshop of three in the Summer Data Workshop series. Each workshop can be attended independently, but researchers are encouraged to register for all three workshops in the series.
