Certificate in Health Care Infection Prevention & Control (CHIP) has paid summer internships available at local hospitals. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your public health training in a hospital setting.
Placements are available at hospitals around Michigan but most are in the Ann Arbor/Detroit area. Applicants who are called back for an interview will receive details of current placements. There are usually between 5-10 placements available.
Applicants must be current graduate students in a public health program at the University of Michigan. You do not need to be in the CHIP certificate program to apply for an internship.
