Each meeting is hosted by expert faculty in the field who will lead a discussion. We welcome all students, staff and faculty to attend. March 21st Topic: Novel Oral Polio Vaccine Guest Speakers: Dr. Adam Lauring, Professor of Internal Medicine (Division of Infectious Diseases), Professor of Microbiology and Immunology, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Dr. Arnold Monto, Professor Emeritus, Epidemiology, and Co-Director of the Center of Respiratory Virus Research and Response April 18th Topic: Measles Guest Speakers: Dr. Marisa Eisenberg, Professor of Epidemiology, Co-Director of Michigan Public Health Integrated Center for Outbreak Analytics and Modeling (MICOM), Professor of Complex Systems, Director of the Study of Complex Systems, and Professor of Mathematics Dr. Abram Wagner, Assistant Professor of Epidemiology, Assistant Professor of Global Public Health Attendees will be encouraged to participate in a discussion. Articles for review will be distributed in advance of the meeting. Drinks and snacks will be provided.
