More Information & Registration

The Biostatistics Hackathon 2.0 competition offers an exciting opportunity to learn about the field of Biostatistics through hands-on challenges that address real public health questions. Teams will use quantitative tools to develop innovative solutions for a pressing public health issue and present their findings. Faculty from the Department of Biostatistics will provide guidance throughout the day and select the best projects as winners. This event is a great way to experience the role of a Biostatistician and learn about career opportunities in the field. If you are interested in quantitative sciences (e.g., mathematics, computer science, statistics, engineering, etc.) and their potential to impact public health, this event is for you! Basic programming skills in at least one language (e.g., Python, R, Matlab, C++, SAS, Stata) are required for participation in this event. No prior knowledge of Biostatistics is needed. Registration is available for both teams and individuals. Lunch and refreshments will be provided for all attendees.
