Dr. Murabito graduated from the University of Rochester in 1981 and received her medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York in 1985. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Boston University Hospital followed by a research fellowship at the Framingham Heart Study and a master's degree in epidemiology at the Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. Murabito is Director of the Clinic at the Framingham Heart Study and she is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Boston University School of Medicine. Dr Murabito is the recipient of R01 and R21 grant awards from the NIH/NIA. Her research interests include the epidemiology and genetics of longevity, healthy aging, reproductive aging and peripheral artery disease. Dr Murabito is a member of the Genetics of Longevity Consortium sponsored by NIA.
