This workshop will expand attendees' knowledge and application of biostatistical methods in their research through a week-long series of modules. Each module will be begin with a short lecture covering basic theory underlying a statistical topic; the second-half of the module will be interactive use of that topic with data in the statistical package R. The topics that will be covered during the workshop include an introduction to the statistical software R, regression modeling, missing data, survival analysis, and longitudinal analysis. The registration fee is $500. A laptop with R installed is required for this workshop. This fee cannot be refunded but can be transferred to another individual.
